The legislative action committee for the CAI Heartland Chapter has been very busy the past few years as the members of this committee have been working very closely with an experienced State lobbyist, Steven R. Carroll, to work toward preventing legislation that would adversely impact community associations from becoming law in the State of Missouri, supporting legislation that helps community associations, or help in drafting new legislation that would be beneficial to community associations throughout the State of Missouri (such as the Homeowners Bill of Rights).
