We had a great time at the 2026 CAI Trade Show in Kansas City on Monday, August 24th and we are grateful for all of the attendees who stopped by our booth to talk about the current insurance market for community associations that has been showing signs of softening (finally) since January 1st – a welcome relief for association budgets that have been pushed to the breaking point over the past handful of years during a generational hard market. Many of those in attendance at the trade show sat and listened to a presentation “Water Damage 101: Insurance, Restoration, and Best Practices” that was presented by our very own Jim Ruebsam, CIRMS, EBP as well as Charlie Penner of U-First Reconstruction in Kansas City, MO.
We understand how complicated it can be understanding what all is entailed in obtaining proper coverage quotes and placing coverage for a community association, and our experienced team is here to help — led by Jim Ruebsam, CIRMS, EBP who has over 20 years of hands-on experience placing and servicing insurance coverage for condominium associations and large homeowners associations throughout the Midwest — from St Louis, MO to Omaha, NE.
